This one started as a project for my Dad. He had a a responsibility in church where he was meeting lots of different people, in lots of different circumstances and he wanted to remember. So we dreamed up a web-based app that would let him keep track of people and what they talked about.

The next time he would meet them, he could review his notes (with his phone or iPad) and continue conversations and reference things they'd talked about before and follow up on issues they'd mentioned. This app had been built just for him but then I was asked to fill a responsibility where something like this would be useful. I had the problem of not just remembering everything we'd talked about, but coordinating contact other people had had.

So I significantly extended the app (basically a re-write) to allow multiple users. I added other tracking, i.e. different types of contact (visits vs phone calls vs interviews...). I added a section that let us add meeting agendas so that they could be shared and edited as a group. I added a task list as well to help us not let anything fall through the cracks.

The back end was all Django with a REST api (Python) and the front end was asynchronous javascript (lots of jquery).
